Join us this June Bank Holiday, 27th May - 1st June 2026! Headfest is a community festival celebrating music, sport, culture and the surrounding areas of Headford.

Derek Warfield and the Young Wolftones

Derek Warfield is revered as a singer, songwriter, historian and entertainer.

Tav Jam Band

The Tav Jam Band brings together a diverse range of musicians connected through the legendary Campbells Tavern in Cloughanover.

Ruaile Buaile

Ruaile Buaile are an Irish based 5 piece twisted-trad band, based in the midlands of Ireland

The JAB Band

The JAB band are a local trad fusion two peice.

Tradstone

Tradstone are a lively four piece trad rock and folk band from Tipperary and Galway

Sporting, Community and Wellness

Fittest Parish

It’s parish versus parish as local trainers Marcella and Gary put everyone through their paces in a battle for bragging rights!

Yoga for adults + kids

Niamh of inspire yoga and pilates runs free yogalates and kids yoga classes at Headfest. Weather permitting they will take place outside.

Headford Harriers 8k

The 8K run will take place in conjunction with the Headford Harriers, Headford's weekly running group.

Football + GAA Tournaments

Football and GAA tournaments are a key part of the Headfest weekend, with teams from across the area taking part in a mix of underage blitzes and local competitions.

Craft + Food Fair Sunday

 Showcasing local artisans with handmade crafts and Irish-made products. You can contact Ray to book a place on XXXXXXXXXX

Yarnbombers

Catch colourful knitted and crocheted installations at across the festival site and the town.
